 Illusion of movement, vertigo of lines, mysterious shadows, textural effects: the painter Bernard Alligand accompanies this poem with contemporary chiaroscuro compositions. 

 

"Je suis un guetteur de crépuscules / attentif à la déclinaison des routes / à l'éclair de l'imprévisible / et aux germinations - / un rôdeur de clairières / Longue est la patience des rêves / qui scintillent dans les vitraux / avec tout un essaim de pulsations /..."

Original edition 2021. Unpublished poem accompanied by original works: subjects photographed, digitized, retouched, printed on an offset reproduction of one of the artist's works and on metallic paper. Cutouts and collages. Carborundum engraving.

 

Limited edition of 30 numbered copies, signed in the colophon by the author and the artist. Leporello format, 12.5 x 17 cm, 16 pages including cover. Text set in Roman Baskerville typeface, printed on 250 g white BFK Rives paper at the Atelier d’art des Montquartiers in Issy-les-Moulineaux. Presented in a box from the Centre's bookbinding workshop.
