
Michaël GLÜCK, born in 1946 in Paris (son of immigrants from Eastern Europe), is a writer, poet, playwright, and translator.
The author builds his literary work on the themes of exile and connection.
He taught literature and philosophy from 1969 to 1983, worked as a reader and translator in publishing (Flammarion, Jean-Michel Place, 1980-1982), and was director of the Municipal Cultural Center and then of the Théâtre la Colonne in Miramas (1985-1989). He has collaborated extensively with theater, dance, puppetry, visual arts, and music.
He received grants from the Centre National des Lettres in 1981 and 2000, and a grant for theater directorship in 1997. He also received a writing grant from the D.M.D.T.S. 2000
